Sorbatek is ultra compact for minimal storage space – one box of Sorbatek is the equivalent to a full pallet of hydrated gel packs! No bulky packaging taking up valuable production space!
Easy to use in 4 simple steps –
Soak Sorbatek for 10 minutes in water. Tip: To speed up the process use warm water to maximise expansion of cells/blocks.
Remove excess water.
Stack the Sorbatek fabric to foil into the freezer (as low as minus 40°C). Tip: For extra assurance interweave the sheets/blocks with film or wax paper to prevent excess water freezing together.
Remove from freezer and add the Sorbatek to the top of your packaged products to create a ‘chill lid’. Tip: Combine with our Chilltek range of insulated boxes and envelopes for maximum effectiveness.
Sorbatek is available in three sheet options, a 500g sheet, a 750g sheet and a 1kg sheet of frozen mass – made to fit the most common box sizes. In addition, we provide Sorbatek in single 400g blocks and as a flexible roll which is 60 meters long (perforated every 75mm to enable you to create your required size).
